For more than 30 years Advocates Community Counseling has served as a safety net for people experiencing difficulties in life. Our experienced team of counselors and clinicians provides a full range of outpatient services at our locations in Framingham, Marlborough, and Harvard.
We all face challenges in life, and sometimes we need guidance from a skilled and compassionate professional to help us grow. Whether its support during a difficult time, help coping with the stresses of everyday life, or treatment for addiction and mental health issues, our counselors, clinical nurses, and psychiatrists are here for you.
Foremost in our approach is the firm belief that counseling is a partnership between the counselor and client. We take great care to empower clients in this relationship and on their path to recovery.
Clinical Services
Assessment
Our clinicians will meet with you to discuss your concerns, assess your needs, and partner with you to plan services that will be most helpful for you.
Individual, Family, and Couples Counseling
We support adults, children, and families coping with life’s ups and downs as well as ongoing behavioral health issues including addiction, anxiety, trauma, depression, and other psychiatric conditions.
Group Therapy
Group treatment can instill hope, create a sense of belonging, and provide a safe place to practice new skills. We offer a variety of groups for men and women with a range of needs including life skills, anger management, addiction, and more.
Psychiatric Emergency Services / Mobile Crisis Intervention
Advocates PES team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We provide personalized support tailored to the needs of children, teens, and adults, always with sensitivity and respect during difficult times – at our offices or in your home, school, and other community locations.
Medication Management
Advocates’ clinical nurse specialists and psychiatrists provide evaluations and ongoing treatment when needed. It is an option for individuals who also meet regularly with an Advocates counselor.
Youth & Family Services
Our supports for children and families are designed first to help stabilize and then to foster coping skills that will help them strengthen and grow. Services include counseling, psychiatry, in-home therapy and behavioral services, therapeutic mentoring, and mobile crisis intervention.
Elder Services
We offer assessment, counseling, psychiatry, crisis intervention, and support groups for older adults and their caregivers facing addictions or mental health needs along with the unique challenges of aging.
