About Advocates Outpatient Counseling and Psychiatry Services
For more than 30 years, Advocates counseling services have served as a safety net for people experiencing difficulties in life. Our experienced team of therapists and clinicians provides a full range of outpatient services at our locations in Framingham, Marlborough, Harvard, Lawrence, Peabody, Plymouth, Waltham, Whitinsville, and Worcester, as well as via telehealth. We provide therapy for people of all ages at our outpatient counseling clinics, Behavioral Health Urgent Care centers, and Community Behavioral Health Center.
If you need support during a difficult time, help coping with the stresses of everyday life, or treatment for addiction and mental health issues, our counselors, clinical nurses, and psychiatrists are here for you. We believe that counseling is a partnership between the counselor and client, and we take great care to empower clients in this relationship and on their path to recovery.

NeuroStar Therapy (TMS)
Advocates offers NeuroStar Therapy in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This innovative treatment uses transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to target key areas of the brain that are underactive in people with depression. While the exact cause of depression is not known, the leading scientific theory is that it is caused by an imbalance of the brain’s neurotransmitters, which are chemical messengers that send signals between brain cells. TMS therapy is a non-invasive and medication-free procedure that uses magnetic fields to gently stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. Call (508) 661-2038 to schedule a consultation with us. Learn more
Eligibility and Fees
We accept MassHealth and most private insurance plans. To find out if we are in your network, please contact your insurance company or our office. For those without insurance, a sliding scale fee schedule is available.
