At Advocates, we are proud to have joined more than 35 MetroWest business, nonprofit, faith-based, education, civic and community leaders in urging everyone in our community to stand in solidarity with the Asian American Pacific Islander community. Advocates is now offering several virtual support groups via Zoom. These include mental health support groups as well as social and recreational groups. Facilitated by members of Advocates Peer Specialist team, these support groups are open to anyone in the community, not just individuals served by Advocates, and participation is confidential.
We continue to provide on-site services to more than 100 people, with our remaining friends participating in remote services, including virtual and in-person home visits.
