Undergraduate Internships
Advocates offers undergraduate level internships to students with a wide range of majors including Psychology, Social Work, Marketing, Communications, and Human Services. Internships are available in a variety of settings including, but not limited to:
- Autism Services
- Brain Injury Services
- Care Management
- Child and Family Services
- Day Habilitation Services
- Developmental Disabilities
- Fundraising
- Marketing & Communications
- Mental Health
- Residential Services
Undergraduate level interns are accepted on a rolling basis, but typically run for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Graduate Internships
Graduate level internships are available to students with majors including Counseling, Psychology, and Social Work. Graduate level internships in a variety of settings to include:
- Adult Family Care
- Child and Family Services
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
- Elder Community Care
- Elder Services
- In-Home Therapy
- Outpatient Services
- Outreach Services
- Psychiatric Emergency Services
- Residential Services
Our internship supervisors are Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Mental Health Clinicians. Students interested in Fall placements must submit a resume and cover letter no later than March 1st.
