Darren Tong is currently the Head of Information Technology, Security and Informatics at Orna Therapeutics, a startup life sciences organization that delivers drugs through an innovative circular RNA platform.
A visionary technology executive for mission-driven organizations, Darren’s more than twenty years of experience spans all areas of technology operations, systems, and digital transformation; diverse industry verticals; and organizations ranging from small startups to global enterprises. Prior to his work at Orna Therapeutics, Darren worked at Voyager Therapeutics, where he was responsible for cyber security, infrastructure, and architecture.
Prior to joining the Advocates board of directors in 2023, Darren served on the board of HMEA. Darren holds a BFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design and worked on Informal Geometry, the first high school textbook done completely on a computer.
