Victoria received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Vermont State University and her master’s degree in human services from Capella University. She went on to complete her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in substance and trauma from Salve Regina University. Victoria has worked extensively with law enforcement as a co-response clinician. She worked with Rhode Island State Police and piloted an opioid task force program that focused on individuals experiencing dual diagnosis of substance use disorder and mental illness to prevent incarceration. Victoria has experience in home therapy treatment with children and families in the child welfare system. In addition to working at Advocates, Victoria continues to work at Rhode Island hospitals providing crisis assessments in the Emergency Department to individuals experiencing psychiatric crises. Victoria is the co-response Jail Diversion clinician for the Sharon and Westwood police departments.
