Marty Cohen recently retired after serving for twenty-five years as the founding president and CEO of the MetroWest Health Foundation. Prior to joining the foundation, Mr. Cohen served as the executive director of the Technical Assistance Collaborative, Inc., a health and human services consulting firm.  He previously served as a senior program consultant with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and was a deputy assistant secretary in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health & Human Services.

 Marty joined the Advocates board in 2024. In addition to his service on the Advocates board, he serves on the board of the Point32Health Foundation and is vice-chair of the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission.  He holds a BA and MSW degree from Boston University.
