Co-Response Jail Diversion

Kristin received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services from Fitchburg State University with a concentration in Criminal Justice. She went on to earn her Masters in Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work and her LCSW with the State of MA. She joined the Advocates Co-Response JDP Program in August of 2022 and served two years as the full-time regional Co-Response Clinician for the towns of Stow and Harvard.  In 2024 Kristin became a Co-Response Supervisor and now oversees the Stow/Harvard, Watertown and Lowell Police JDP Programs.  Prior to her years with Advocates and the Co-Response team, she worked with the Somerville Police Department’s COHR Unit providing overdose outreach and case management services with a focus on harm reduction. She also served as an outpatient therapist in the greater Lowell/Lawrence region specializing in Internal Family Systems, trauma treatment and substance use & recovery. She is a certified TF-CBT provider and has extensive experience working with youth in the foster care system. Kristin continues to serve as an outpatient Clinician providing specialized care for First Responders through the LEO Counseling Program at Advocates.
