Jenelle Main is the Senior Director of Co-Response Jail Diversion Services at Advocates, where she plays a vital role in developing and implementing strategies that effectively integrate mental health support within the criminal justice system. Jenelle is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with extensive experience in forensic and clinical psychology. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling & Forensic Psychology from William James College and dual Bachelor's degrees in Legal Studies and Psychology from Roger Williams University.
Jenelle’s expertise in crisis intervention, program management, and staff supervision has been recognized through numerous roles, including Clinical Supervisor and Unit Director at the Massachusetts Treatment Center. Before becoming Senior Director, Jenelle served as the Assistant Director of the Co-Response Jail Diversion program for four years.
As Senior Director of Jail Diversion Services, Jenelle will lead our unified portfolio of co-response and post-response jail diversion services. She will advance our mission of providing high-quality, community-based crisis services, enhancing our partnerships, and developing effective programs that positively impact the individuals we serve.
