Co-Response Jail Diversion

Emily received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development with an additional major in Criminal Justice from Washington State University. Following this, Emily went on to receive her master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College. During her studies, Emily interned at the Boys and Girls club in Charlestown supporting the social emotional health of youth in an after-school setting. Following this role, Emily interned at the Cambridge Police Department in the Family and Social Justice Division, where she assisted with community courts, homeless outreach, and youth support. After graduating, Emily began working for Advocates in the Psychiatric Emergency Services Burlington office. Emily obtained her Massachusetts State Licensure as a LCSW in January of 2022. In her current role, Emily serves as the Co-response Jail Diversion Clinician the Belmont Police Department.
