Overview
Advocates’ Neurodiversity @ Work initiative creates inclusive career pathways for neurodiverse individuals ages 18 through 26, including those with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and co-occurring conditions such as social anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.
The Neurodiversity @ Work program works collaboratively with employers in fields including biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, hospitality, culinary, e-commerce, warehousing, and information technology.
Participants do not need to receive traditional employment services to qualify for this program.
Candidate Training Program
Job candidates receive individualized training in the following areas, allowing them to thrive in a variety of positions:
- Communication
- Executive functioning
- Team dynamics
- Workplace readiness
Support for Employers
Employer partners receive both on-site and virtual support from the Neurodiversity @ Work team. We offer a range of resources:
- Customized training in inclusive workplace practices
- Ongoing support for human resource professionals, supervisors, and candidates
- Thoughtful matching with prepared job candidates
