As Vice President of Health Systems Integration, Anne Pelletier Parker leads Advocates' efforts to play a significant role in the emerging health care system. This includes designing care management programs and partnering with primary care providers so individuals can access the best possible medical and behavioral health care in integrated settings.
A licensed independent clinical social worker with more than forty years of experience, Anne spent twelve years as the Vice President of Network Management and Recovery Initiatives at The Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership (MBHP) where she was involved in the development of groundbreaking behavioral health services and health care reform initiatives. In that role, Anne collaborated with Advocates around emergency and outpatient mental health services, so she was familiar with Advocates' mission, values, and quality of care when she joined our team in 2014.
Anne also leads the Behavioral Health Partners of MetroWest LLC, a partnership among Advocates and three sister organizations—SMOC, Spectrum Health Systems, and Wayside Youth and Family Support Network—to create better access to our combined continuums of care and partner more effectively with local health systems and payers. She spearheaded the BHPMW’s development of MetroWest Care Connection, a community health hub supporting local residents in collaboration with many community stakeholders.
Anne represents Advocates on various commissions with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and clinical advisory committees of several health insurance payers. She is often sought out to consult on policy issues related to behavioral health, crisis services, child and family services, and integrated care. She has received awards from the Department of Mental Health and the Association for Behavioral Healthcare for her contributions to the behavioral health service delivery system in Massachusetts. Anne graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Welfare from the University of Southern Maine and earned a Master of Science degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a Certificate in Human Services Management from Boston University.
A Framingham resident, Anne enjoys working at Advocates' Framingham headquarters and making a difference in her own community.
