Beth Lacey, MSW, LCSW

Senior Vice President of Community Services

Elizabeth (Beth) Lacey is the Senior Vice President of Community Services.  Starting at Advocates in July of 1986, Beth has worked in a variety of positions including direct care counselor, psychiatric emergency services clinician, group home manager, therapist, supported housing director, and division director in mental health and developmental services.

Beth has been a vital contributor and leader as Advocates has grown from a small, residential organization to today's large, multi- service organization. She is passionate about the rights of individuals with disabilities and others who have been marginalized. Beth uses this passion to create systems that encourage people to find their strength and voice, and to direct and find meaning for their lives.

Currently, Beth is responsible for the operations of Advocates' service system which includes:  outpatient clinics, psychiatric emergency services, criminal justice services, residential and in-home psychiatric rehabilitation services, residential, day habilitation and employment services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, residential treatment for substance disorders, adult family care, and family support services.

Beth is an active member of the Association for Behavioral Health and the Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers. Beth holds an MSW from Boston University, class of 1999. She is the mother of two wonderful adult daughters.
